It is hard to describe how using this watch makes you view time. From the moment I first put it on, I was able to read and understand time much quicker than with a regular watch or even a digital display. Here is the best way I can describe it - with an traditional analog or digital display you look at the watch, discern the time and then connect that to your day and schedule and what you should be doing. With this watch, not only is there only exactly one point to look at (quicker to read than digital or traditional analogue) but that point already corresponds exactly to something in your life. Instead of thinking "Ok, it is 7:53, that is close to 8, when i need to leave home to go to work." I simply see that the hand is pointing near the place that I associate with "Leave for work". It is a very interesting experience looking at the watch. I used to spend my day checking the time and quickly figuring out where in the day I was, and now, after only two days of wearing the watch, only occasionally glance at it and instantly know exactly where I am in my day. It's almost surreal sometimes. I also have to speak to their customer service. It is really great. I actually ordered a slightly different configuration, but didn't get a shipping notification for a few days. Not a problem, the company is called "Slow" after all. I popped them an email asking if it had shipped and was told that the configuration I ordered was not already built and packaged. Their solution was to send me this configuration plus the strap that I originally wanted, and to expedite my shipping. The result was the watch I had ordered, a significantly upgraded strap, plus quick shipping (it arrived around the same time I would have originally expected an international order to arrive!). They aim to please, and they hit their target in my case.

I love my slow Jo! It has changed my lifestyle! I have spent my whole life running late - I was born late, and I don't think I ever caught up. With other watches, I would cut the timing so close that I would end up being late to meetings, late to classes, even late to the airport (and yes, I've missed flights!). With my slow, I don't know what time it is to the second, so I am forced to head to meetings, classes, and the airport with a cushion. I feel more relaxed, and, surprisingly, since I show up early to things, I can actually get MORE done while I wait for everyone else to rush in at the last minute for a meeting. Note - I do have to be very careful when changing/setting the time, which happens often since I do a lot of traveling across time zones. The mechanism has a two-stop pin that is explained in the directions when you get it, but I ignored those thinking they were recommending unnecessary steps. When I didn't follow those steps, my slow started losing time, so I emailed the company. They replied and explained the mechanism to me, and now that I am actually doing all the steps, surprise, surprise - it works like a charm!
